What happens, step by step

Arrive and register
Come about ten minutes early with your ID/Passport and insurance details(if applicable). Reception checks you in and shows you to the department.

Your consultation
You will be positioned and guided through the imaging procedure by our radiographer. Results are typically available the same day and sent directly to your referring doctor.

Treatment and follow-up
Tests, medication and any follow-up visit are arranged before you leave. Your results and visit history stay available in your patient portal.
How to prepare
- Bring the request form from your referring clinician
- For an abdominal ultrasound, avoid food for six hours beforehand
- For a pelvic or early pregnancy scan, drink water and arrive with a full bladder
- Leave jewellery at home and wear clothing without metal fastenings for X-rays
