Come about ten minutes early with your ID/Passport and insurance details(if applicable). Reception checks you in and shows you to the department.

Your consultation
The ophthalmologist will conduct a full eye examination including visual acuity, intraocular pressure measurement, and examination of the retina and optic nerve. A clear report and management plan will be provided.

Treatment and follow-up
Tests, medication and any follow-up visit are arranged before you leave. Your results and visit history stay available in your patient portal.
How to prepare
- Bring your current glasses or contact lenses and your latest prescription
- Arrange a lift home - dilating drops blur vision for several hours
- Bring sunglasses for afterwards, as light feels brighter once dilated
- Tell us if you have diabetes or take steroid medication
